Salary: $70,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
A leader of their industry and continually growing food manufacturer in the Lebanon, IN area is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join their team. This person is responsible for maintaining maintenance parts in the stockroom, planning and scheduling maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime, minimize downtime, and optimize resource utilization. This role involves developing detailed work plans, coordinating resources, and ensuring that maintenance tasks are performed efficiently and effectively.



Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Work Order Planning:
  • Develop detailed work plans for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Estimate labor, material, and equipment requirements for each work order.
  • Create job packages, including work instructions, drawings, and parts lists.
• 
  Scheduling:
  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, considering equipment availability, resource constraints, and production requirements.
  • Prioritize work orders based on criticality and urgency.
  • Coordinate with operations and production departments to minimize disruptions.
• 
  Resource Management:
  • Ensure that necessary parts, materials, and tools are available for scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and services.
  • Manage spare parts inventory.
• 
  Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS):
  • Utilize CMMS software to create and manage work orders, schedules, and inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and improve maintenance efficiency.
• 
  Communication and Coordination:
  • Communicate with maintenance technicians, operations personnel, and other stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to resolve maintenance-related issues.
  • Provide clear and concise work instructions to maintenance technicians.
• 
  Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Track and analyze maintenance performance metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of maintenance principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using CMMS software.
• Excellent planning and scheduling skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics


• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Experience in the field of maintenance, and/or planning.
