PRIMARY FUNCTION:

This GPEC Marketing Internship will provide support in the development of Gregory Poole Equipment Company's digital presence through photography and videography as well as provide administrative and database maintenance support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Photography & Videography :


  • Shoot high quality photos and videos of events and promotions.

  • Set-up and breakdown of equipment such as lights, tripods, etc.
  • Edit and produce video for use on the Gregory Poole Equipment Company website, social sites, and marketing collateral.

Database Maintenance :

  • Monitors CRM database Customer Name and Address Audit Reports then edits and maintains current and accurate sales representatives' numbers, customers' out-of-business, deceased, and location/address changes in the system.

  • Monitors, edits and maintains current database customer information from the Prime Product Audit Reports for incorrect make, model, serial number format and compatibility codes.

  • Updates, enters and moves machine population and influencers' data for all divisions and branches.

Marketing Assistance :

  • Assist the Marketing Department with projects, PR, Promotions, and Marketing events.

  • Provide administrative support as needed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education :

College junior or senior pursuing a related BA/BS degree.

Work Experience :

One year of related work experience.

Physical :

Ability to periodically travel overnight (sometimes overnight); Ability to lift various materials that could weigh up to 50 lb, stoop, bend and stretch to assemble/disassemble marketing displays; Ability to sit for long periods using a PC and telephone.

Other :

Good communication skills, highly organized, detail-focused, and customer service oriented; Understanding of visual arts concepts as well as hands-on videography and photography skills; Proven understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
