Job Description:

• Performs preventive maintenance on trailer equipment.


• Performs troubleshooting and root cause analysis of repair issues.  


• Service and repair trailers.


• Utilizes manuals, work orders, hand and power tools, and measuring tools to complete tasks.


• Assembles, disassembles, repairs, replaces parts as needed.


• Electrical repairs and general maintenance.


• Welding and fabrication.


• Service and repair ABS systems.


• Ability to diagnose using computer diagnostic equipment.


• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.


•  Reports all maintenance issues and malfunctions.


• Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns.


• Follows safety regulations.


• Performs other duties as assigned.


• Operates a semi-truck and trailer according to applicable federal and state/provincial transportation laws and regulations
