ASC Engineered Solutions is seeking a Finance Manager - Operations for our manufacturing facilities in Madison, Kansas, Henderson, Tennessee, Guntersville, Alabama, Denver, Colorado, Romeoville, Illinois and Houston, Texas. The position will be based in Romeoville, Illinois. The Operations Finance Manager is the facilities' finance leader responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of results, maintenance of the company's balance sheet, and ensuring a strong control environment. The Operations Finance Manager also serves as the business partner to Plant Managers and the company's manufacturing leadership focusing on providing financial and operational leadership and improvements, including identifying and driving inventory and cost reductions.

How You Will Help:
Ensure balance sheet accuracy and integrity and a strong control environment by: Managing a complete and thorough accounting cycle including account balance sheet reconciliation and month end close processes. Ensuring full compliance with company's policies. Noting and appropriately mitigating business risks and proactively seeking and remediating any deficiencies. Monitoring and ensuring a strong internal control environment and proactively enhancing financial controls and processes. Provide operational financial reporting, KPI's, financial analysis, and manufacturing cost analysis by: Preparing actual results, and forecast, and budget scenarios throughout the year. Analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting plant performance, including manufacturing and other performance variances. Providing management with strategic reports and insights to drive business results. Working cross functionally with engineers, procurement, and plant operators to drive cost reductions and efficiency gains. Lead development of investment analyses, key performance indicators, cash flow forecasts, and capital expenditure proposals. Function as a business partner with Plant Managers and Manufacturing leadership to effectively manage and control all facets of the plant's efficiency and productivity by: Framing financial and operational issues in a complete business case format and positively contributing to the strategic direction in the plant. Leading and/or participating in presentations to plant employees and plant management. Accepting responsibility for plant accounting operations as well as financial and operations management.

What You Will Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required; MBA is a plus Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing plant environment Infor M3 and HFM experience a plus Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications and aptitude for implementing new technology solutions Manufacturing performance analysis reporting to executive team regularly Controllership mindset - proactive not reactive Concise communication skills with the ability to actively participate in and succinctly explain detailed accounting, reporting and operating matters Experience as business partner to Controllership and Manufacturing Operations teams Highly motivated; ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Ability to travel (up to 50% travel)
