Assist the client with reconfiguring vacation and sick time accrual plans within the Lawson Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application. New contract agreements with unions at the client necessitate changing the current plans from a monthly accrual to an hourly accrual configuration. We need assistance with setting up these plans and migrating employees from the existing plans to the new plans. This is a time sensitive engagement, and all plan setups and employee enrollment tasks must be completed before March 29, 2025.
2. Background:
The client's Lawson software is installed on-premise, and we are on application version 9.0.1 Maintenance Service Pack (MSP) #7 running on the Lawson System Foundation Core Technology (LSFCT) 9.0.1.15.
The client currently has approximately 1,100 employees.
The client currently has seven vacation and sick time accrual plans. These plans may be consolidated into a smaller number of plans depending on the details of the union contract agreements.
The client has 37.5 and 40-hour weekly employee work schedules so each plan will need to be configured to calculate for both types of schedule.
The client has union and non-union employees
The client runs a weekly payroll for all employees.
The client is currently upgrading from S3 Applications to Infor Cloud Suite HCM. This work will be done in the current S3 Application.
3. Project Management and Administration:
Work on the Development Environment can be performed at any time during the day, including nights and weekends.
Work on the production system can be performed at any time during the day, including nights and weekends with the coordination of the end users to minimize any potential system down time or disruption to daily activities.
The consultant can perform work remotely working closely with the ERP Program Manager and end users.
4. Tasks and Deliverables
Provide recommendations for best practices related to sick and vacation accrual plans configuration and assignment.
Set up two (2) sick time accrual plans.
SICK 12 (For employees who earn 12 sick days per year)
SICK 15 (For employees who earn 15 sick days per year)
Set up the sick time accrual plans for 40 and 37.5 hour employees.
Set up five (5) vacation accrual plans.

U2VACN (Vacation plan for unit 2 employees)

Set up the vacation time accrual plans for 40 and 37.5 hour employees.
Move all employees to the sick and vacation accrual plans.
Test all sick and vacation accrual plans.
Train up to ten employees on how to enter and configure the accrual plans.
Provide documentation on how to create and maintain the sick and vacation accrual plans.
Provide support during the go-live of the new plans for five (5) production payroll cycles.
Provide documentation to migrate these new accrual plans from the S3 Application to Infor CloudSuite HCM.
5. Assumptions:
The Consultant will be cognizant of the time sensitivity of these tasks and will deliver within the specified time frame.
6. Skills:
Expertise with Infor Lawson S3 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.
Expertise with Accrual Code Plan creation and Configuration.
Experience with Accrual Plan assignment to employees.
Experience with Accrual Plan balance maintenance.
Knowledge of Infor WorkForce Time Entry.
