Description:Assist both Level I and II radiographers in day to day responsibilities on castings to ensure that they meet internal and external customer quality requirements as well as perform MT inspector duties. Job Responsibilities:Assist with daily set ups of castings for radiography with appropriate identification, location, and penetrameters.Organize the X-ray areas in front of the large and small cells.Daily load and unload castings in and out of shooting cell using overhead crane and casting carts.Perform MT Inspections.Perform Grinding duties when not needed in the x-ray department. Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead person. Start to LearnPerform radiography on castings as indicated by customer specification or internal requirements.Interpret radiographs and either accept or reject castings based on customers' specifications.Daily mark up castings showing type and location of defects identified on film.Weekly develop radiographic techniques to meet quality specifications of new work or modifications on existing work.Daily proess and develop radiographic film.Requirements:Basic Math; Basic Reading (customer specification drawings, work instructions); Basic Writing (data input, record keeping).
