As a School-Based Therapist in Nystrom & Associates Community Based division, you'll work in our CTSS (Children's Therapeutic Support Services) program. You will have the opportunity to implement high-quality, culturally-sensitive mental health services to children and adolescents in the school setting. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to children, adolescents and their families in a school setting
Assist children, adolescents and their families in identifying goals for functional improvement and work with them to meet their goals
Design and implement treatment/intervention reflective of the child's needs
Work collaboratively with the school district, school personnel divisions, and other community-based agencies
Provide psychoeducation to school staff
Design and implement therapeutic groups for students
Receive clinical supervision from a qualified staff, and obtain continuing education units
Employees pursuing professional licensure are eligible to participate in Nystrom & Associates' Professional Development Track. The Professional Development Track gives early career therapists the opportunity to work as an Outpatient Therapist after 9 months of providing School-Based services. This track also has a specific focus on continuing education and an emphasis on training and advancement.
