Job Summary

Under direct supervision, responsible for supporting the product development process in conjunction with immediate, mid-term, and long-term innovation strategies.

• Identify user needs and develop product requirements, performance attributes, and quality specifications.




• Oversee product development timelines and balance corporate priorities to ensure that deadlines and goals are met.




• Work with internal or external design teams to generate product designs and technical specifications.




• Evaluate prototypes for usability, manufacturability, performance, and quality.




• Work with legal to identify opportunities to protect product designs through patents, trademarks, or other intellectual property techniques.




• Generate Protocols, Reports, and Technical Documentation as necessary.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with prototype fabrication.




• Experience in product development.




• Technical Writing experience.




• CAD Experience (Solid Works preferred).

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$62,400.00 - $90,480.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
