Our client is seeking an experienced Manager of Human Resources to join their team. This role is critical to the smooth operation of the company, with responsibilities including processing payroll, aiding with recruitment, onboarding new hires, and managing benefits administration and open enrollment. This role requires a strong collaborator who can work well with different teams and personalities. Experience working with health insurance providers for quotes and benefits enrollment is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily attendance and updates to the time clock system
- Conducting new employee orientations
- Organizing benefits enrollment and open enrollment benefits
- Processing payroll
- Assisting with the administration of recruiting activities
- Answering employee questions about company policies and procedures
- Maintaining current HR files and databases
- Updating and keeping employee benefits, employment status, and similar records
- Maintaining the Employee handbook
- Performing additional HR tasks as needed
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience in an HR role
- Excellent communication, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Active learning and application of new methods for increased efficiencies in the department
- Strong Windows/Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Exercises good judgment, practical reasoning, and confidentiality
- Detail-oriented, organized, effective communication skills, and able to work well with others
- Demonstrates appropriate conduct, especially in stressful situations
