The Floor Supervisor position is on the production floor assisting with troubleshooting and ensuring the machines maintain quality standards and the highest running speeds possible. Other duties include job approvals, pulling tooling and parts from the parts room, mixing ink, making labels, locating materials in the warehouse, data entry, time and attendance, moving personnel as needed to cover needs on the floor. (This is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon management.)
Supervise and manage multiple teams within production.
Manage parts and material flow needed for each production order.
Measure and inspect specifications of corrugated boxes for quality checks.
Review and approve jobs based on understanding of specifications, drawings, machine specs, etc.
Training of new hires (Operators, Stackers, Forklift drivers, Shipping & Receiving).
Communicate with support teams (Graphics, Customer Service, Scheduling) and escalate issues as needed.
Schedule trucks for receiving and shipping.
Schedule daily lineup in an efficient manner to optimize production and minimize downtime.
Responsible for maintaining Safety, Quality and Production targets.
Ensure proper and effective communication is given either verbally or written to all employees.
Other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Must have at least 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of corrugate machinery or industry knowledge preferred (not required)
Must have intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills.
Must be able to efficiently use a Windows-based computer.
Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communications skills.
Must be able to work alone, and with a team.
Must be able to read and communicate in English, for safe and effective performance of the job and business operations.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
