Oversee a software development team including software requirements, design, coding and verification testing.
Drive resolution of technology roadblocks including code, infrastructure, build and deployment.

Collaborate with Product Management leadership to help define technical requirements and design clarity based on customer/ business requirements.
Proactively collaborate with colleagues in Product Strategy, Quality Assurance, Documentation, Quality and Regulatory and Technology Solutions to deliver on the product roadmap.
Outline and execute product release plans ensuring timeliness of deliverables and regular communication of status to stakeholders.
Keep current on industry standards and technologies and understand how/when/if to implement them into the Company’s product offerings.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality system and security requirements.
Contribute to high-level strategic planning decisions with product, engineering, and executive teams .
Requirements
BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of experience in software engineering
5+ years of managing software development teams with a strong track record of project delivery for complex commercial projects.
Seasoned knowledge of the software development life cycle including planning, requirements, bottoms-up task estimation, architectural design, development, and verification testing.
Must have experience with state-of-the-art software development tools and processes, such as Agile development methodologies.
Proven ability to conceptualize business and/or user requirements.
Excellent leadership capabilities including mentoring managers and developers and leading a team into innovative software technology approaches.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Must comply with and pass initial background check and drug screening, as well as subsequent background checks, drug screenings and vaccine requirements as required by customer contracts.
Must comply with Company vaccination policy.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: While performing duties of this job, the employee is predominately functioning in a sedentary light office position with high frequency of keyboarding, and computer use.
