JOB SUMMARY:
The Gearbox Assembler is responsible for assembling gear reducers, gear motors, and other drive components per information on work order. The assembler is responsible for testing units and troubleshooting problems associated with Gearbox Assembly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble gearboxes to work order instructions.Check work orders for accuracy.Visually check parts for quality.Test units for audible noises.Rework and correct any noise or leakage problems.Work related to maintaining the 5S program and Kanban system.Be an active participant in the companys suggestion, quality, efficiency, and cost savings programs.Perform other duties as assigned.
