Position Summary

ALL Crane & Equipment Rental in Nitro, WV is seeking a self-motivated professional to provide leadership and supervision in the role of Dispatcher & Permits Administrator. This position will be responsible for obtaining oversize and overweight load permits, prioritizing tasks, meeting customer expectations, and assuring compliance with all government regulations. This is a full-time, exempt position in a casual office environment.

Essential Functions


  • Obtaining oversize and overweight load permits.

  • Keep records, logs, and schedules of the calls they make and/or receive, the vehicles and staff they monitor and control, and the actions they take.

  • Maintain information on each call and then prepare a detailed report on all activities occurring during their shifts.

  • Ensure on time delivery of cranes and equipment to job sites.

  • Ensure company drivers maintain compliance with OSHA and safety regulations.

  • Dispatcher will also assist in other activities and duties as assigned by Branch Manager. 

Skills and Experience Requirements


  • Knowledge of the permitting process for oversize and overweight loads, and the documentation required.

  • Experienced in trucking and dispatch functions is preferred.

  • Experience with cranes or other heavy construction equipment is preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and enterprise computer applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week and overtime as needed.

  • Able to sit for longs periods of time.

  • Able to use phone, computer and other office equipment.
