Job Description:

Position Summary

The Laborer will help assist with day-to-day operations which include but are not limited to maintaining a clean yard and work environment. Will help keep roadways and work areas. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Shift Hours:Typically, 6 days a week; 12-hour shifts. Starting between 3:30 pm - 4 pm



Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks under direct supervision. Common tasks are shovel work,sweeping, lifting, cleaning, and acting as a spotter.


• Uses various tools and equipment to support production operations such as skid steer shovels or other equipmentto remove excess material from beneath the plant.


• Assists Plant Operators, Equipment Operators, and Maintenance Crew with daily duties/projects as requested.


• Keep plant cleanto eliminate possible hazards


• Follow all safety and environmental rules and regulations


• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience


• Must be safety conscious, dependable, motivated, and possess a positive attitude in working with others as a team.


• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs


• Previous construction or industry experience is a bonus but not required.


• Must be able to pass apre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.

Working Conditions



All duties require outside assignments and require periods of work in all weather conditions, cold, wet or dry, and dusty. Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 85 dbs.
