The Regional Project Manager (RPM) serves as the project manager for capital development projects within their specified region. The candidate shall exemplify excellent commutation skills in the management of those involved in every layer of a given project. The role will report to the Vice President of Construction & Development and interface directly with the region’s General Managers and Regional Vice President in identifying and executing capital improvement projects that will ultimately have a positive impact on at the property, region, and company as a whole.
Project Management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of a multitude of projects, assigning responsibilities and monitoring and summarizing work progress. In addition to the direct supervision and oversight of specific scalable work, the RPM will be responsible for thoughtfully and most adequately deploying annual maintenance capital within their specified region. This will include, but not be limited to, direct interaction with GM’s and the RVP to develop a property’s annual maintenance capex program and actively oversee the regional maintenance capex budget. The RPM will have an integral role in identifying growth opportunities, developing business cases for the procurement of capital, and ultimate execution of the work. The RPM will be tasked to provide periodic status communications with the Construction & Development Controller.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with VP, RVP, engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
Manage all aspects of construction and development from design development, entitlements, contractor selection, contract development, and construction oversight.
Work with acquisition team to build budgets to support overall property investments.
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
Coordinate & supervise onsite management for multiple projects in the region.
Supervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
Assist on-site management with planning, coordinating, and supervising on-site functions.
Request approval from the VP, RVP, and General Managers for project transactions, purchase requisitions, field design change requests, etc.
Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods, equipment, etc., as required.
Ensure all on-site personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.
Document all violations; notify project management, recommend/implement corrective actions as required.
Ensure consistent execution of priorities and objectives across the international facilities.
Build relationships with contracting vendors, project managers, and other key players of operations team.
Solve complex problems in collaboration with others involved in on the project at hand.

Technical and Physical Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in operations experience in civil or marine project management and or experience in construction management
Exceptional business acumen, analytical skills and decision-making ability
Strong organization skills in order to manage multiple projects with moving parts
Ability to work independently and multi-task, prioritizing as appropriate
Ability to travel as needed
Ability to work a flexible, full time schedule
Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook
