Job Description:

Job Summary: 

ITS is seeking multiple Network Engineers supporting the United States Space Force. The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient network infrastructure. This role combines technical expertise with an understanding of government requirements and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency
• Ensure network security through firewall management, VPN configuration, and implementation of security policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT initiatives and integrate new technologies
• Manage network upgrades, including hardware replacements and software updates
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures
• Support disaster recovery efforts and ensure business continuity
• Assist with cloud integration, particularly in AWS environments

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in network engineering
• Experience with DNS configuration and Linux operating systems
• Security + Certification
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

 Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field ( Equivalent Experience

Clearance Requirement:

• Active Secret Clearance Required

Salary Note:
