Carlyle Global Credit's Operations team focuses on all Operational activities across the Global Credit Platform, including investment capture, investment funding, treasury management, portfolio compliance, and administrator oversight.
Position Summary
Carlyle is seeking an analyst to support our credit portfolio operations team. The analyst will work closely with the broader Operations teams, Investment Professionals, Fund Management, Technology and other key stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely operational setup and closes of different credit portfolios and platforms. This role will also be responsible for meeting deal and fund close timelines, maintaining accurate information within legal entity management databases, and working with colleagues across our global offices to facilitate the operational setup needed to engage in transactions. The Portfolio Operations team is uniquely positioned within the structure of Carlyle, and will have insight into many functional aspects of the firm's processes - this position is expected to lead, collaborate, and problem solve for our investors.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the efficient and accurate legal and operational setup of credit vehicles.
Drive portfolio activation across different strategies and jurisdictions of the business by working intimately with key investment team, fund management, and legal stakeholders.
Maintain and enhance relationships with banking partners, trading partners, and third-party administrators.
Partner with treasury and capital markets teams to facilitate the setup and onboarding for currency hedging and credit facilities.
Working with global banking partners to clear KYC protocols and deliver account opening materials to operations and investor relations teams.
Facilitate deal closes with respective operations and investment team members.
Ensure accurate portfolio information within relevant entity management databases.
Navigate complex investment structures while ensuring alignment with internal compliance and legal guidelines.
Reconcile internal and external data within core system.
Qualifications
Education & Certificates
Bachelor's Degree, required
Concentration in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related discipline, strongly preferred
Professional Experience
2-5 years of overall relevant experience required
Experience in credit product types and investment structures strongly preferred
Acute knowledge of private equity fund and investment structure formations, custodial and trustee account openings, international Aml/KYC requirements, and transaction close process.
Project management experience

Operational experience with custodial and trustee account set-up
Documented knowledge of AML/KYC procedures
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Advanced experience working within large entity and data management databases.
Detail Oriented, Results Driven.
Self-starter with a strong willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic, honesty, integrity, and strong communication skills a must.
Benefits/Compensation
The compensation range for this role is specific to Washington, DC, and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $110,000.

Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
