JOB SUMMARY

Rigline 24/7 Technicians are Nabors front line technical support experts. The intern will be responsible for analyzing troubleshooting cases data to understand trends and patterns. This information will then be used to work with other departments on ways to improve our products. The intern will also have the opportunity to troubleshoot level 1 issues and requests with our customers and enter the data in our ticketing system. The intern will also have the opportunity to help implement a shared knowledge base that multiple departments can utilize for support information

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Help in analyzing troubleshooting case data, identifying trends and patterns, and making recommendations for improvement

Perform level 1 troubleshooting assistance to our customers with the guidance of our experienced technicians 

Assist in conducting research and gathering data related to Rigline’s processes and systems

Assist in preparing and presenting reports to management and other stakeholders

Work with cross-functional teams to support projects and initiatives

Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Assist with developing a knowledge base for troubleshooting related documentation

Work on designing a new Rigline SharePoint site for our customers to utilize 

Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in IT, MIS, Petroleum Engineering, or related field

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Effective project management skills (task identification, prioritization, and documentation)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Should have a good blend of Technology and Process knowledge

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS

Office environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and use hands. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision
