Your Role:
At MilliporeSigma, as the Operational Quality Assurance Specialist you have responsibility for the analysis of quality data to identify trends and lead quality improvement initiatives across functional teams. This role collaborates with various functional groups, such as production, quality control, and regulatory teams, enhancing proactive quality standards and driving knowledge development within the team. The Operational Quality Assurance Specialist will report directly to the St. Louis Cell Marque Operational Quality Assurance Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide quality assurance support related to investigations for process and/or product deficiencies
Provide quality assurance support related to customer complaints
Provide investigative, root cause and corrective action support
Provide quality support for changes that occur with products and processes
Participate in quality improvement projects utilizing Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma approaches
Maintain thorough and accurate records of QA activities
Continuously develop and enhance QA skills through training
Use data and trend analysis to monitor and improve QA performance
Participate in customer and regulatory audits, as a Subject Matter Expert of applicable Quality Management System(s)
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.) or a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, etc. )
1+ years experience in a quality role
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in quality management systems
Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to establish collaborative relationships with various departments to deliver on quality commitments
Ability to work autonomously, effectively manage time and deliver results on time
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and quality systems software
Understanding or experience with ISO & FDA quality regulations
