LOGS Legal Group LLP has an exciting new opportunity for an AR Specialist to join the team in our Colorado Springs, CO office location. 

POSITION DETAIL:

FLSA status: Hourly

Pay Range: $36,000-$40,000 (annualized)

Scheduled hours: 8:30- 5:00 PM MST

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Purpose of this Role: The Accounts Receivable Specialist is primarily responsible for the collection of payments received on invoices generated by our clients. The collection of the receivables may require manual submission of invoices while navigating various programs, understanding proper invoicing procedures and working closely with our client law offices and servicers.

Value to the Team: The AR Specialist provides production level support functions relied upon by Firm management high-quality AR practices. The AR Specialist adds value to the business by speeding up collections, ensuring accurate invoicing, and effectively managing payment disputes. This role provides production level support functions relied upon by Firm management to ensure high-quality AR practices.

Duties and Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:


  • Address Client inquiries regarding law firm invoices

  • Address Servicer inquiries regarding law firm invoices 

  • Monitor daily work queues

  • Monitor Servicers past due reports

  • Create Client account statements as required

  • Submit invoices to Clients through various channels

  • Research past due invoices

  • Escalate past-due invoices to Servicers as needed

  • Resubmit invoices to Servicers for payment

  • Act as point of contact for Servicer

  • Resolve Client inquiries or disputes

Training and Experience Requirements: The ideal candidate for this position has the following:


  • High school and some college education preferred

  • 1-3 years of accounts receivable experience is preferred

Conditions of Work:


  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods

  • Ability to remain focused for extended periods

  • Ability to work on computers for a significant portion of the day

  • Ability to perform repetitive movements as required for positions (Typing, clicking, swiveling)

  • Ability to lift 10-20 pounds as needed
