Lead, IT Project Mgmt is responsible for overseeing all aspects of any project in company's IT department, which includes managing a team of employees to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets.
Responsibilities
Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals
Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees
Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
Conducting risk assessments for projects
Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress
Lead, IT Project Analyst conduct planning and implement various technical projects -involving system integrations, data conversions, platform roll outs. Collaborate closely with the technical team to oversee completion of design , developments and to implement life-cycle methodologies for various software systems.
Lead, IT Project Analyst work closely with business leaders and executives to determine their company goals and strategize a plan for a new product release according to their needs and preferences. They then meet with employees to build a schedule and deadlines for the upcoming project. As the projects are being built by employees, the Lead, IT Project Analyst continuously inspects it to ensure the progress remains on track with the company's needs. Once it's launched, they attend a post-project debriefing session with the clients.
Minimum Education/ Experience
Bachelor's degree with 7+ years relevant work experience OR Master's 5+ years relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.
Specific Skills or Experience Required
7+ years of experience in IT project management
Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects and programs with diverse cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
