POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our maintenance shop team. This position is responsible for diagnosing equipment malfunctions, completing preventive maintenance, and completing repairs for a variety of equipment in our construction fleet.


This is an hourly full-time, non-exempt position.

BENEFITS

Starting wage $28-40/hour +overtime depending on experience. Competitive wage and retirement program that includes an employer profit sharing contribution. Health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance. Vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays available immediately.



Position Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience in all phases of heavy construction equipment repair preferred.
  • Physically able to perform the job functions including the ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long durations.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to listen and take direction.
  • Willingness to be a team player and help train less experienced employees.
  • Compliance with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Completion of additional position specific skills training as required.
