The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the managing the execution of all warehouse functions. Managing inventory and quality control as well as supervision of 6 employees. Responsible for ensuring each employee is meeting company work goals as well as following processes and procedures. The INIT warehouse handles the daily work for INIT as well as two production companies located in our location. The warehouse manager is responsible for data integrity of the ERP system inventory. This position reports the the Manager, Purchasing Logistics and Repair.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning capacities, coordinating the team
Organizing warehouse management, acceptance and dispatch of goods, and coordinating with other departments
Recording and passing on the requirements of the team (computers, rooms, tools, personnel, etc.)
Motivating and supporting team members
Carrying out all warehouse management, goods acceptance, and dispatch tasks
Using the ERP system in daily warehouse management
Communicating and negotiating with transport companies
Deadline monitoring
Subject knowledge on customs and exportation subjects
Statistic and Reporting of specific KPI for warehouse operations
Review of warehouse processes with an eye to process improvement
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Safeguard within warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Knowledgeable in OSHA warehouse requirements, willingness to pursue additional training.
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data in ERP system.
Demands and Work Environment:
Required up to 50 lbs.
The work will require you to regularly to be stationary for 50% of your workday, and ascend/descend stairs, and kneeling and/or squatting or reach overhead bins for the remainder of your workday.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Exposed to work environments that may contain dirt and dust.
