Position: Admission Counselor/Recruiter

Department: Executive Vice President/Admissions

Classification : Non-Exempt

Lane College is currently conducting a search to expand its Admissions and Recruitment Department. The ideal candidate possesses a burning desire to reach and guide students and parents through each step of the admissions and enrollment process. The candidate must be able to travel extensively. He/she will represent the College at college fairs, expos, private visits, and other events. He/she must be able to develop and maintain contact with high school counselors and community colleges.

The qualified candidate must be available to begin immediately; must have a Bachelors degree with two years of professional work experience; must have a valid drivers license and good driving record; must be outgoing, energetic, self-motivated and goal oriented; must be prepared to travel extensively, including overnight travel; must possess a high level of personal integrity and professionalism; must possess an openness to feedback and a willingness to take personal responsibility for the affairs of Lane College; must be able to manage student records, maintaining strict confidentiality, ensuring that the internal database is current and accurate; must be able to work nights and weekends; must possess excellent written and oral communication skills; and must have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
