The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.



Holman is currently accepting applications for the role of Manager - Meetings & Events.



Primary Purpose of Position:



  • Develop strategy around current and future event opportunities to represent the Holman brand, taking into consideration the needs and goals of the business. Work with Meeting & Event Coordinator to execute successful events and provide post-event recaps.

  • Develop communications plan and cadence for updates back to business leaders around event strategy and execution when applicable to their division.

  • Lead content marketing efforts and support strategy furthering Holman's strategic initiatives particularly in sales and brand awareness.

  • Liaise with other Holman locations for development of industry marketing materials and event resources.

  • Drive content strategy at the beginning of the creative process, translate high level strategy into tactical content and contribute to and facilitate brainstorming sessions

  • Work with Associations to build strong relationships

  • Create and maintain event content calendars, from the development of the content through client approval and posting

  • Manage client and industry events, responding to consumer comments and inquiries and routing customer service requests through the proper channels

  • Coordinate with digital and traditional media teams and strategically plan media buys on social and traditional media platforms to ensure seamless integration into the holistic marketing plan.

  • Stay on the cutting edge of emerging trends and educate clients and team members.

  • Identify speaking opportunities for business division SMEs and Holman executives, to position Holman and our competencies as a leader in the global mobility services market.

  • Manage and partner with outside creative vendors and other external vendors as appropriate.

  • Collaborate in the creation of email messaging for Marketing automation platform and website, work with Digital team to distribute client email messages, invitations, surveys, etc.

  • Partner with PR team to initiate ensure delivery of media, advertising and marketing inquiries by trade publications. 

  • Oversee marketing's event specific writing or editing copy and coordination deployment with vendors for event publicity, programs, advertisements, etc.

  • Lead marketing events personnel including hiring and performance management as appropriate.

  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.




Education and/or Training:



  • University degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field required.




Relevant Work Experience:



  • Experience in working in our branch (automotive industry, fleet management) would be desirable but not required.

  • 5-10 years of meeting & event planning experience preferred.

  • Social networking experience in a business environment desirable.

  • Experience in content creation desirable.

Pay:



We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $97,450.00 - $141,300.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
