About this Role:  We are seeking a Purchasing Manager who can craft effective purchasing strategies and cultivate strong supplier relationships while supporting our internal teams' needs. What you Will Do:



  • Lead and coordinate a talented team of buyers and support staff in sourcing raw materials, equipment, and supplies.

  • Innovate and enhance our purchasing policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Analyze market trends and delivery conditions to predict material availability and proactively communicate potential challenges.

  • Review requisitions and supply sources, making informed recommendations for major purchases based on market insights.

  • Engage in contract negotiations and vendor selections, ensuring quality and compliance with company policies.

  • Monitor vendor performance to uphold delivery, quality, and pricing commitments.

  • Collaborate with HR on hiring strategies, making impactful decisions for your team.

  • Train and mentor your team on company policies and best practices to drive performance and success.

  • Organize team schedules and workloads, fostering a supportive and productive environment.

  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations to help your team grow and excel.

     

What You'll Need to Succeed:


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing or a related field, required.

  • 3+ years of purchasing experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, required.

  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of driving team performance and collaboration.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a comfort with fast-paced environments.

Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual team members. Salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 annually based upon experience.
