Nemours is seeking a Director, Culture and Coaching to join our Nemours Children's Health team in either Orlando, Florida, Jacksonville, Florida or Wilmington, Delaware.
This is a Hybrid position.
The Director, Culture and Coaching is responsible for the organizational strategy and structure of coaching design and practice. This role is a highly visible enterprise role that is critical to delivering and leading the deployment of coaching and consulting services to leaders and associates across the enterprise. This leadership role will have direct oversight to a team of internal coaches that together will support a range of intensive coaching and strategic engagements. The Director, Culture and Coaching will also be responsible for leading and designing customized, scalable, team effectiveness interventions and partnering with leaders, stakeholders, internal consultants, and HRBP's that deliver measurable outcomes and align with the Nemours Standards of Behavior.
The Director, Culture and Coaching will leverage industry best practices to grow the Nemours internal coaching program while developing coaching strategies that advance culture and talent goals. This includes such practices as succession planning, executive assessment, competency development, and executive development. This role requires a results oriented, interdisciplinary, creative mindset that is grounded in ethical coaching practice. Exceptional facilitation and coaching skills are required as well as project management experience. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Culture and Talent.
Design, develop and lead individual and team-based executive coaching services in partnership with organizational leadership that directly supports Nemours strategy.
Utilize industry best practices to develop and support the coaching practice while refining and improving content and coaching strategies.
Provide oversight and leadership support to team of enterprise coaches ensuring alignment to overall business strategy and needs.
Design and execute new and legacy leadership development opportunities across a continuum of managers: new, experienced, senior, executive.
Support the individual development of coaches to grow competencies and skillsets to meet the needs of the organization
Provide leadership and supervision for internal consultation, facilitation, and support of team effectiveness interventions including customized delivery of solutions to meet the needs of a complex, multifaceted health care system.
Teach, coach, and mentor as a direct thought partner and facilitator within the Nemours LEADER program.
Be a key driver and innovator to building highly effective and engaging learning experiences including designing and creating collateral for programs and leadership development offerings.
Ensure outcomes and objectives for the identified coaching pathways are met and the programs are delivered with diversity of approach to meet the needs of each leader.
Works in partnership with HR Culture and Talent, Talent Acquisition, Business Partners, and HR leadership to orchestrate cultural and change initiatives that support Nemours' strategies and goals.
Supports enterprise succession planning and executive feedback including overseeing the 360-assessment program to ensure leaders receive timely and consistent feedback.
Approximately 10-15%% travel required to enterprise locations based on organization and team needs. All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Master's degree in Leadership Development, Talent Development, Learning, Adult Education, or related field required.
A minimum of five (5)+ years experience required.
Direct, hands-on experience in developing and delivering coaching, team effectiveness and leadership development programs.
A minimum of 5 years people management experience required.
International Coaching Federation Coaching (ICF) Credential or Similar Coaching Credential preferred.
