Overview
EagleView, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Senior Proposal Writer in our Sales Enablement department. Sr Proposal Writer is responsible for leading the development of proposals for new business opportunities, working with teams to ensure that proposals are clear, persuasive, and in line with client requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation, writing, and submission of proposals for new business or government contracts.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), project managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for proposal development.
Develop proposal outlines and ensure the structure meets the client’s & RFP submission requirements.
Develop clear, concise, and persuasive content that aligns with the client's needs and objectives.
Perform quality control and final checks to ensure that the proposal meets deadlines and is free of errors.
Ensure all sections of the proposal are accurate, complete, and compliant with the client's request for proposal (RFP) as well as all necessary documentation included in the proposal package, such as financial documents, certifications, and legal agreements.
Lead proposal review sessions and implement feedback to improve the proposal quality.
Write and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with client needs as well as submission requirements.
Review and edit proposal drafts for grammar, spelling, format, and consistency with client requirements.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop win themes, competitive analysis, proposal strategies and value propositions.
Maintain and update proposal templates, response libraries and best practices.
Write original content for technical, management, and pricing proposals.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
Association of Proposal Management Certificate is a plus.
5+ years of proposal writer or similar experience with a proven track record of managing successful proposals.
Preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Creative problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and proposal management tools (e.g. Qvidian, etc.)
Experience with GIS/Engineering/Photogrammetry is a plus.
Knowledge of Association of Proposal Management best practices is a plus.
