What you will enjoy doing* (DUTIES)


  • Prepareand organize project setup

  • Prepare a project logistics schedule in coordinationwith the Project Controls-Scheduling department for executing all details ofthe supply chain activities

  • Prepare project specific procedures andspecifications such as, but not limited to, packing and marking instruction,ready for shipment instruction, logistics inquiry, and order template

  • Establish a project specific logistics service provider list consideringfinancial project requirements and service provider experience to create globalproject tenders

  • Execute vendor pre-qualification

  • Conduct competitive biddingand negotiate rates and discounts for logistics project frame agreements andother contractual documents

  • Execute final bid evaluation and price comparisonaccording to approved matrix

  • Examine transport and lifting sketches foroversized, heavy-lift cargoes

  • Report and monitor engineering hours andtransport budget, including estimate at completion

  • Support Sales Team forestimation of budget calculation and feasibility of project

  • Perform onsitelogistics study to ensure equipment can be transported into the jobsite

  • Facilitate national and international market screens to obtain the necessaryknowledge of the logistics market

  • Adhere to Trade Compliance and the company'sPolicies and Procedures

  • Execute project transportation requirements withinbudgetary guidelines

  • Audit all freight charges and file claims on overages

  • Prepare and file transport insurance claims

  • Actively work with suppliers toensure timely submission of project related documentation and meeting theproject deadlines


What makes you great (REQTS)


  • Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreignequivalent in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field and five(5) years of Supply Chain Management or Procurement - Logistics experience inthe job offered or in a related position within an Engineering Procurement Construction(EPC) or project-driven environment

  • Must have five (5)years of experience with: Utilizing an ERP business system for efficient datacollection and input data

  • International and domestic shipping experiencefollowing Trade Compliance requirements

  • Managing permit loads, heavy haultransportation, and project shipping in adherence to the Department ofTransportation or International Maritime Shipping regulation

  • U.S. CustomsImport or Export Regulations to execute customs clearance

  • Customs InvoiceValuation in accordance with Contract Management and Trade Compliancerequirements

  • Negotiating best shipping rates

  • Microsoft Office Software, SAP,and discipline specific software applications

  • Working closely with suppliersto ensure submission of necessary deliverables for Project's progress

  • Reporting current status and outlook for supply chainactivities to internal (Project Management team) and external (clients)stakeholders

  • Proactively monitoring supplier's progress to ensure adherence tocontractual obligations and on time delivery
