The Business Intelligence Analyst responsible for providing end user support ensuring correct business functionality. The job includes all the traditional aspects of Business Analysis to document business practices and reporting within the organization. Must be familiar with and comfortable working within all phases of the system life cycle and coming up with innovative ways to provide actionable solutions to provide our company extended growth and efficiency.
Description:
Evaluates business processes, anticipates requirements, uncovers areas for improvement, develops and implements actionable and functional solutions
Develops and tracks KPIs including building dashboards for reporting, specifically utilizing the functionality of PowerBI for data visualization
Maintain and improve upon existing BI reporting infrastructure through implementation of best practices with regard to design, development, testing, administration and functionality of reports and dashboards
Designs, develops, tests and implements new and existing PowerBI and Salesforce/SAP dashboard and reports
Through understanding of DAX functionality
Knowledgeable in leveraging PowerBI and visualization techniques for report development and analysis from a wide range of sources including Excel, SAP/CRM, raw datasets, Web/HTML, etc.
Gathers critical information from meetings with stakeholders and business unit leaders to develop or enhance existing operational reporting
Effectively communicates insights and plans to cross-functional team members and business leadership
Perform data mining internal and external, cleansing, and manipulation activities
Teaching and training colleagues how to manipulate and analyze data themselves

Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relative or financial course of study
2 to 4 years' experience working with Business Intelligence tools and visualization, preferably PowerBI
2 to 4 years' experience in data modeling, data analytics and process improvement
Actively communicates technical and business aspects of work efforts to promote team player atmosphere in one-on-one, group meetings or wide audience presentations
Works effectively with end users to perform a thorough analysis of business operations and procedures with an eye towards increasing efficiency and productivity
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Manages time, utilizes system tools & resources effectively, & provides timely status reports to management
Knowledge of SAP, Alteryx or Power BI tools a plus
