The Zoetis Business Development Finance Summer Program is designed to provide you with a variety of unique experiences that will serve to develop and broaden critical skill sets and competencies as you progress your development towards leadership roles in your career, whether at Zoetis or opportunities at other organizations.
This is a unique opportunity to gain an insight into how the world's leading animal health company operates and explore the range of career possibilities at Zoetis, while advancing your own academic knowledge and technical skills. You will receive continued on-the-job training throughout the program and benefit from working alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects during the internship.
You will also have the support of a mentor / buddy who can help you navigate the workplace and ensure you are best positioned for success.
The program timing is structured as a 10-week internship at our headquarters in Parsippany, New Jersey.
During the program, you will be leading 1-2 projects centered around some of the following items:
Developing complex financial models
Performing financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences
Conducting company and industry research
Assessing various avenues for capital allocation
In an effort to complete this project, you will get access to: senior leaders, diligence sessions with deal team members, performance reviews will manager, and weekly touch points to ensure progress is being made. The final step of this project will be a presentation to senior Business Development leaders at the end of the program.
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Finance, Accounting or Business degree from an accredited college or university with a graduation time frame between December 2026 and June 2027
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills
Commitment to innovative thought, strategic thinking, and making a difference
Proven leadership experience
Ability to work across teams
Demonstrated interest in healthcare
Must have an authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare experience
Project management experience
Currently enrolled in an MBA program
