The Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary & Audubon Center (TRSAC) in Oyster Bay, NY is the first Audubon Songbird Sanctuary in the U.S. established in 1923. The land was gifted by the Roosevelt family to honor President Theodore Roosevelt, who is buried next door a Youngs Memorial Cemetery. The TRSAC recently completed a $3 million renovation of the grounds, gardens, and center, opening the brand-new Wood Thrush Education and Visitor Center in May 2023.
