The Psychiatry Graduate Medical Education Senior Specialist manages the daily operational and administrative aspects of the psychiatry residency program; Oversight of travel and education stipends for all residents to remain fiscally responsible; Provides oversight with developing and implementing educational goals and course requirements; Interprets and enforces program policies and procedures; Annually reviews and evaluates program curriculum in collaboration with leadership; Identifies areas in the curriculum that require revision and improvement and recommends updates; Oversees faculty teaching evaluation activities; Manages the coordination of special events including resident graduation, bi-yearly resident retreats, education and training didactics, lectures, and conferences; Implements curricular development to meet all national standards; Oversees the design and development of course objectives, handouts and all instructional materials associated with the residency programs; Oversight of all databases and program websites as well as the organization of the didactic schedule and management of all course evaluations.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
