The Coordinator of Enrollment Success Initiatives in the Office of Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) is responsible for executing strategic initiatives designed to support student enrollment success at the university. Must be able to work cross functionally to mobilize groups towards strategic goals. Work enables the development, delivery, measurement, evaluation, and continuous improvement of projects.
Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of the university's enrollment strategy, university strategic plans, and academic college goals to understand priorities. Initiatives will support student access, affordability, regional campus enrollment turnaround, yield, retention, completion/graduation, and organizational effectiveness. Priority initiatives will be designated by SEM leadership. Work will span all levels - undergraduate, graduate, and professional - and all campuses. These initiatives will include a combination of working directly with students to enhance yield, coordination of responses to yield analytics, engaging departments both internal and external to SEM in support of projects, and strategies designed to achieve enrollment goals.
Applies specialized expertise within enrollment management to achieve results. Able to quickly assess current state and identify strategic opportunities for improvements. Monitors the implementation of initiatives to assess effectiveness and measures key performance indicators. Mitigates risk as necessary to ensure success. Uses data and technology to optimize work and make recommendations. Ability to transition projects successfully to others upon completion. Project and change management skills may be leveraged in executing work.
Strong communication skills are needed to engage with all relevant audiences and stakeholders to accomplish goals. Represents strategic enrollment management to internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to SEM employees, regional campus staff, and academic college contacts.
Fosters and contributes to a collaborative office culture. Work to be completed on The Ohio State University Columbus campus with potential for hybrid work after onboarding. Highly resourceful team player with the ability to function effectively independently. Maintains absolute professional integrity and confidentiality regarding Strategic Enrollment Management matters at all times. Completes other duties as assigned and supports the mission, vision, and values of The Ohio State University.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 6 years of relevant experience required.
Desired:
Advanced degree in relevant field desirable. 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.
Additional Information:The pay range for this job profile is $64,300.00 - $75,000.00. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
