CADM Talent Acquisition and Outreach is seeking a dynamic and strategic Talent Acquisition Shared Services Manager to join a team that is passionate about data, people, processes and systems, with an excellent eye for detail and a communication style that fosters collaboration.

The Manager of the Shared Services Center is responsible for leading and overseeing the efficient operation of the CADM Talent Acquisition Coordinator Services team. This role involves managing a team of talent acquisition coordinators who support the recruiting process by coordinating candidate interviews, managing communication flows, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. The manager will focus on optimizing processes, increasing efficiency, and delivering high-quality service to internal stakeholders.

This pivotal role will involve serving as a thought partner to the CADM Talent Acquisition leadership team, driving operational efficiencies, and ensuring the consistency and effectiveness of talent acquisition processes, contributing insights to the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies that align with Harvard's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinator Activities and Team Management:
  • Support multiple business client groups with coordinator tasks such as, job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
  • Supervise and mentor the CADM team of talent acquisition coordinators.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and implement development plans for team members
Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the talent acquisition coordinator shared services model, ensuring timely and efficient support of the recruitment process.
  • Innovate, streamline, and standardize processes to improve the quality and consistency of talent acquisition service delivery.
  • In partnership with the Director, TA Ops, optimize the efficiency of CADM talent acquisition as an operation and drive consistency across recruitment teams, including data dashboards of performance (KPIs).
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, utilizing analytics to optimize recruitment outcomes and resource allocation.
  • Support other TA projects and initiatives as needed.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CADM recruiters, HR Directors, CADM hiring managers, and other key stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure their expectations are met.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations and complex coordination issues, resolving them promptly and effectively.
Process Improvement:
  • Use data and surveys to gauge candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Understand change management best practices and the training needs that support the roll out of new processes and tools/systems to effectively change or create new behaviors.
  • Ensure the optimal use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies,
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Programs, Systems & Initiatives (TAPSI) teams to identify and implement new tools and system enhancements that support recruitment operations.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience


Additional Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience working within a Talent Acquisition organization, ideally as a full life-cycle recruiter.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and/or candidate relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines within a cross-functional team.
  • Commitment to excellence and delivering a top-tier candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Experience with using data, metrics, and surveys to gauge the level of candidate and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced knowledge of labor markets, recruiting practices and marketing resources

  • This is a hybrid position that is based in Massachusetts, with on campus work requirements.


Additional Information

This position has a 3-month orientation and review period.
