HME is recruiting for an Inventory Coordinator, 2nd shift (2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, Monday – Friday). In this role you will manage inventory and distribution of new and used material for the repair department, run and analyze inventory reports, and prepare finished products for shipping.

Key Responsibilities

Materials Duties

  • Maintains repair material bench stock and issues parts to appropriate benches as required.
  • Requests required material using company systems.
  • Manages special materials projects as required.
  • Moves excess material out of department and into storage areas.
  • Maintains general cleanliness of department.
  • Packs finished repair equipment per company standards.
  • Advises appropriate parties concerning receiving discrepancies, stock shortages, and material issues.

Inventory Maintenance

  • Performs periodic stockroom cycle counts.
  • Ensures that materials are used in an efficient, lean manner.
  • Prioritizes usable used parts over new parts.
  • Stocks material in designated locations using FIFO inventory methods.
  • Researches inventory variances and recommends actions.
  • Reviews usage reports and advises management of potential inventory issues.
  • Maintains supplies of packaging material for the department.
  • Maintains stock of consumable materials, cleaners, etc. for department.
  • Performs end of life analysis on repair material as requested.
  • Maintains repair label stock and manages the repair label printing process including printer and label database maintenance and new label creation

Receipt of Materials

  • Receives and inspects all incoming material for package accuracy and visible damage.
  • Processes receipts in company systems.
  • Stocks all incoming material in designated location.
  • Provides back up to Service Receiving Clerks and Service Coordinators when required.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and follow all department procedures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic math skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • 0-6+ months related experience and a High School Diploma is preferred

The posted pay range, $18.89/hr - $25.19/hr, plus a 10% shift differential is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
