Summary

The Applications Analyst III is responsible for the oversight of Episys projects, including planning, testing, enforcement of project schedules, appropriate communication to all stakeholders, and execution of project work plans. Serves as liaison between the project teams, vendors and management. Serves as administrator for multiple business applications.

  • Administers multiple core business applications
  • Identifies areas of opportunity to increase productivity company wide.
  • Works with management in using the system’s capabilities to efficiently operate within the assigned application software system.
  • Improves operational processes by utilizing tools provided by the vendors.
  • Analyzes existing or potential programs for enhancements requests.
  • Oversees all aspects of Episys projects to include due diligence, initiation, planning, execution, and closing stages.
  • Writes user and technical documents for assigned applications/modules/workflows.
  • Responsible for preparing and executing project plans on approved projects. Review project plans and milestones to ensure project plans are being followed on a timely basis and deliverables are met. Manages the process and team to accomplish goals.
  • In cooperation with the end user, test applications to assure accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness to achieve desired results.

Database and Core Duties

  • Test programs, correct errors and make necessary modifications; develop methods for integrating different products
  • Assist with Episys database maintenance schedules and updates to the software provided by Symitar/MDT
  • Works as liaison between RGCU and our service bureau for ticket resolution
  • Develops enhancements and reports utilizing PowerOn, SQL, and Crystal reporting
  • Develop workflow automation utilizing OpCon

Application Duties

  • Work closely with Project Manager, project sponsor, application owners, IT, and business analysts
  • Serve as administrator for multiple enterprise software solutions including, but not limited to Symitar, Synergy, FICS, and NCR
  • Develop application goals
  • Identify and resolve application issues
  • Continually tune applications and code to enhance performance on existing databases and applications
  • Explore ways to utilize the capabilities of our current applications to enhance the user experience for our employees and members.
  • Work directly with vendors and business analysts to complete upgrades and enhancements
  • Help to identify opportunities to improve processes

  • Assists in any other areas as directed by the AVP of Business Systems, Senior Management and/or President/CEO.
  • Report all suspicious activity to the Risk Management department via the compliance group email

Education and/or Experience

Experience- 2 to 5 years related experience.

Preferred Experience- 4+ years with Symitar, Synergy, Image Retrieval, Meridian Link, Access Digital, NCR ITMs, and SMA Opcon, CFM, FICS, Fedline, DocDownload, Temenos, Wycom

Education- 4-year degree or completion of a specialized course of study OR 5 years of related experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge in Symitar's, Synergy, Image Retrieval, Meridian Link, Access Digital, NCR ITMs, and SMA Opcon, CFM, FICS, Fedline, DocDownload, Temenos, Wycom; Microsoft software.
