Description:
MANDEX Communications Network Engineer Mid
RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:
Evaluating communication hardware and software.
Troubleshooting Local Area Network/Base Area Network/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WANs) and other network related problems.
Administering LAN/BAN/WANs. Scheduling conversions and cutovers.
Coordinating with all responsible users and sites
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 4 (four) years’ specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and test of complex large scale computer integrated networks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment alone or as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with individuals including government and site personnel as well as other MANDEX team members.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds while performing onsite tasks.
TRAVEL:
Travel up to 30% of the time. Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
SECURITY: Active DoD Secret Clearance
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field of study.
Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification required
CCNA or other OEM network support certification required.
