Job Summary:
The Industrial Security Specialist I under the supervision of the EFW Facility Security Officer will assist
the Facility Security Officer maintain the overall security posture of the EFW Fort Worth facility and
ensure compliance with United States Departments of Defense and State requirements as presented in
the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and the International Traffic in
Arms Regulations (ITAR) respectively.

Responsibilities and Tasks in order of priority to be successful:
Implement the identification system for all employees, service and technical representatives,
contractors and visitors to the company.
Implement the guard services at the company; assuring that the facility is protected and
controlled.
Help maintain the security requirements in support of DoD Classified Contracts, and keep current
records of all DD254s.
Help provide support to all industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government
and company security regulations.
Provide oral communication to all site staff relative to security requirements.
May help participate in investigations involving fraud, theft, sabotage, espionage, subversive
activities or employee misconduct.
Provides information regarding the Company Security Manual which outlines security regulations
for employees is maintained.
Ensures that standard practices are used for all industrial security functions.
Help provide interpretation of the standard practices as they relate to industrial security at the site.
Assist with the receipt and processing of visit request and contact reports required by the Special
Security Agreement and Visitation Approval Procedure Agreement.
Provides information for the quarterly report to the Government Security Committee.
Is aware if the use of Classified Information Systems.
Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Envoke security actions as needed to remain in compliance with all Security policies.
Help coordinate Site Inspections
Attend Training Development
Defense Security Service.
Law Enforcement personnel as necessary.
Representatives from the Department of Defense.
Representatives from the Department of State.
Representatives from any branch of the Armed Services, as required.

Associate's degree is preferred
High School diploma or GED is required
Specific Degree Field Required: Industrial Security.
Training Pre-requisites (Within One Year of Taking Position):
                  ESD
                  Safety Training, as dictated by Safety Department

Skills and Abilities:
Effectively communicate with Site staff, Managers and Visitors.
Initiate and follow through to completion special projects.
Ability to implement written company-wide security policies and procedures.
Ability to assist in the implementation of corrective actions.
