As a Maintenance Team Lead, you will play a critical role in guiding and supporting the maintenance team to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This position focuses on coordinating work, providing technical direction, and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve maintenance goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently.
Regularly perform hands-on maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting relay logic circuits, motors, and programmable controllers.
Assign maintenance work orders based on urgency, skill requirements, and available resources.
Monitor and review work progress, providing technical guidance and hands-on support as needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting complex electrical, mechanical, and electronic issues.
Assist in planning and scheduling preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
Train and mentor maintenance technicians, fostering skill development and ensuring compliance with best practices.
Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures, conduct regular audits and promoting a safety-first culture.
Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to minimize downtime and resolve equipment issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, completed work orders, and equipment performance.
Assist in developing and implementing process improvements for maintenance operations.
Provide feedback to supervisors on team performance, equipment conditions, and resource needs.
Operate material handling equipment, cranes, hoists, and other tools as needed in accordance with OSHA standards.
Maintain a clean and organized working environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
Assist in installation of new equipment, testing, and commissioning.

Required Education/Experience:
15+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred:
High School Diploma or GED
Forklift experience
Electrical experience
Multicraft experience
Schedule:
Work is scheduled Monday through Saturday. Shifts are 8 hours with multiple shifts. Employees MUST be flexible and may be required to change shifts.
