Position Summary:

Under the leadership and direction of the Director of Training and Development, the Training and Development Coordinator collaborates with operational leaders to design, implement, and deliver comprehensive training programs that ensure compliance with cGMP regulations, enhance employee performance, and support professional growth across all departments. This role focuses on developing and delivering training strategies that align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work outside of normal hours and on weekends may be required.

· Assist in the design, implementation, and management of diverse training programs, including New Hire Orientation, Bootcamp, On-the-Job Training (OJT) and certification processes, Contractor Training, Instructor-Led Courses, Webinars, cGMP, technical skills, and leadership development, ensuring proper documentation and timely updates.

· Develop, refine, and customize training curricula, presentation materials, and assessments to address role-specific needs, incorporating regulatory updates, process changes, and organizational objectives.

· Facilitate engaging and effective training sessions in various formats (classroom, virtual, and hands-on) for employees at all levels, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.

· Manage key tasks in the Learning Management System (LMS) and Change Management Systems (Salesforce, Trackwise Digital, Dot Compliance), ensuring accurate updates, and timely completion of tasks.

· Leverage educational technologies to enhance training and development programs, staying current with systems and tools for the creating, delivering, and tracking training initiatives.

· Provide oversight of new hires, training materials, and overdue training, ensuring timely and accurate completion while managing On-the-Job Training (OJT) and certification processes.

· Plan, coordinate, and lead comprehensive facility tours for new employees, school field trips, and other groups, delivering tailored presentations that create engaging learning experiences.

· Track and report training completion rates, compliance metrics, and performance improvements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and transparent reporting.

· Evaluate training program effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

· Manage training documentation, including organizing, scanning, and filing records to ensure compliance, and conduct gap assessments to identify and address deficiencies.

· Serve as a resource for training inquiries, responding promptly to emails and fostering a collaborative atmosphere for team building, professional development, and continuous learning.

· Collaborate with department managers and trainers to identify training needs, develop onboarding plans, materials, and assessments, and recommend updates to procedures and content to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

· Manage onboarding programs for new hires, conducting follow-up interviews, and reinforcing the importance of FDA oversight.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in training and development, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a regulated industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and regulatory training requirements.
  • Expertise in instructional design, including curriculum development, blended learning strategies, adult learning theory, talent management, and learning styles.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), training record management, and change management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and lead training sessions effectively
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and interactive training creation tools.
  • Strong commitment to quality, high work standards, and customer service orientation.
  • Strong planning and execution skills, with a sense of urgency when needed and the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new processes, technologies, and content quickly through self-study.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals and groups across various functions, contributing positively to organizational change initiatives.
  • Expertise in assessing learning needs, recommending learning solutions, facilitating dynamic training, and measuring success.
  • Ability to effectively manage oneself, demonstrate integrity, stay productive under pressure, and meet department goals.
  • Physical requirements include bending, typing, climbing, lifting, reaching, standing, sitting, and walking.
