Our client is seeking a Peoplesoft Financials Functional Consultant for a remote opportunity.


Role Description


About the Role:
We are looking for a PeopleSoft Financial Functional Consultant to serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for PeopleSoft Financials implementations, collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, identify gaps in current integrations and propose new solutions, define technical requirements and create comprehensive testing plans and ensure effective communication and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.


Responsibilities:
• Gather and document requirements for PeopleSoft Financials implementations.
• Analyze current integrations to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
• Propose innovative solutions to enhance the PeopleSoft Financials module.
• Define detailed technical requirements for implementation.
• Develop and execute testing plans to ensure successful deployment.
• Provide technical design documentation, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Lead and manage a team of data engineers, conducting code reviews and guiding the team in designing and developing complex data pipelines.
• Perform proof-of-concepts (POCs) on open-source/licensed tools and share recommendations.
• Balance production platform stability, feature delivery, and reduction of technical debt.
• Participate in the design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for databases, applications, and tools.


Skills & Requirements


Must Haves:
• Minimum of 1-2 PeopleSoft Financials implementations including GL, AP and AR modules
• Extensive experience in gathering requirements and analyzing current integrations.
• Proficiency in identifying gaps and proposing new solutions.
• Strong skills in defining technical requirements and creating testing plans.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in a fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders
