Overview
Faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine & Geriatrics participate actively in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and each other.
This position will include interim care and a coverage clinic. This position is designed to increase after-hours and same day appointment access for practice’s patients as well as increase our overall patient access. Communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other clinicians in our practice is essential. Experience in primary care preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
Co-precepting 1-2 half-days per week, supervising residents in their care of patients; this may include solo precepting as well as necessary
Contribute to ambulatory education of students and residents as necessary
Design, execute and present/prepare for submission at least 1 IRB approved research project
Present scholarly projects at the DGIM&G Research in Progress meeting and at other regional/national meetings as appropriate.
Participate in the Education Scholars Program and/or OHSU Human Investigations/Masters in Clinical Research Program
Other scholarly and clinical experiences designed in coordination with the fellowship director, as appropriate to the fellow’s specific area of interest.
Contribute positively to the DGIM&G group
