Position Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for performing all laboratory activities related to materials research, development, design, testing and analysis of new products or improvements to existing products in accordance with established procedures and protocols. The position requires working independently under general supervision. This position involves responsibility for specialized equipment and materials; work may involve some risk to employee if proper precautions are not taken.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and executing test methods, including test process and product specifications
Operate various laboratory equipment according to specific instructions.
Record data accurately and neatly in data collection sheets.
Properly maintain data and properly enter in digital formats as required.
Order laboratory supplies as needed.
Monitor laboratory calibration status as needed.
Perform basic mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Interpret graphs, charts, and tables
Comply with departmental safety policies and procedures.
Adhere to FDA regulations (21CFR Part 820, GMP).
Minimum Required Education / Experience:
Associates Degree required

Strong analytical skills
Ability to follow written instructions
Excellent communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Proficient computer skills
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
