Baer is looking for SAP EWM SPP Help Desk Consultant for a 6+ month project located in Dearborn, MI.

Location: Onsite - Dearborn, MI
Duration: 6 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2

Description:

  • Efficiently resolve L1, L2, and L3 support tickets raised by clients in the SAP EWM and SPP space. Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues related to SAP EWM/SPP modules, ensuring timely and accurate solutions.

  • Perform necessary system configuration changes in SAP EWM/SPP based on client requirements. Apply bug fixes and ensure all issues are resolved in line with system requirements and operational goals.

  • Lead and execute testing efforts for configuration changes and bug fixes. Document all changes, fixes, and resolutions to maintain comprehensive records for the client and the internal team.

  • Manage and coordinate the deployment of updates, bug fixes, and new features in the SAP EWM/SPP environment, ensuring smooth implementation without impacting ongoing operations.

  • Lead client-facing conversations to understand their issues, manage expectations, and deliver high-quality solutions. Build strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and a successful partnership.

  • Handle and manage escalations from clients and internal teams, ensuring issues are addressed in a timely manner and with the appropriate level of expertise.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of help desk support professionals. Assign tasks, manage workflows, and ensure the team delivers effective solutions for the client in a collaborative environment.

  • Contribute to process improvement efforts, suggesting ways to streamline workflows and enhance the effectiveness of the support team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and SAP SPP (Supply Chain Planning) modules.

  • Strong experience in resolving L1, L2, and L3 support tickets within the SAP environment.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP EWM configuration and troubleshooting.

  • Solid understanding of warehouse management processes and supply chain planning.

  • Experience in testing, bug fixing, and deploying updates in SAP EWM/SPP systems.

  • Leadership experience in managing a support or help desk team, including task delegation and performance management.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

  • Experience working in an Agile or service management environment.
