Job Description
A business development representative (BDR) is a sales professional who manages the initial stages of the sales cycle, from identifying potential customers to qualifying leads and booking meetings.
Working as a BDR at Judge Healthcare, you will own a role which is varied, stimulating and challenging on a daily basis.
BDR candidates will be reasonable for the following:
Prospecting
• BDRs find new leads and connect with them through cold calling, emails, social media, and other methods.
Educating
• BDRs educate prospects about the company's products and services and help them understand how the company's solutions can address their needs.
Qualifying
• BDRs determine which prospects are likely to make a purchase and are a good fit for the company.
Communicating
• BDRs communicate with other sales team members to ensure leads have a smooth experience. They also communicate with prospects through a variety of channels, including phone, email, and in-person.
Data gathering
• BDRs gather key sales data and conduct customer research.
• BDRs are the first point of contact for potential customers, so they need to be resourceful, engaging, and efficient. They should have strong communication skills, be able to build relationships, and have a creative mindset.
• BDRs are different from sales executives, who close deals. BDRs' key performance indicator (KPI) is the number of qualified leads they generate each month
