Contract: 6 months
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced TEMP - Member Liaison Specialist to join our team. The Member Liaison Specialist will provide support to seniors, individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions, those without housing, and individuals under twenty-one. This role serves as a bridge between members, health networks, providers, and community-based organizations to ensure access to services and resolve healthcare and psychosocial issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Member Support: Promote a culture of high-quality performance focused on customer service, consistency, dignity, and accountability.
Team Collaboration: Assist in carrying out department responsibilities and support short- and long-term goals for the department.
Issue Resolution: Assess and address members' concerns to identify psychosocial or healthcare issues and facilitate appropriate resolutions. Manage requests for assistance, grievances, and appeals in line with departmental guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
2 years of experience as a call center agent or customer/member services representative in healthcare, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bilingual in English and one of the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Korean, Spanish, or Vietnamese.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and chronic medical conditions.
Experience with Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO), Medi-Cal/Medicaid, and health services.
