Summary of Position:
As an Industrial Engineer, you will design, develop, test, and evaluate systems to manage industrial production processes effectively. This role includes optimizing human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics, material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.
A strong understanding of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, EPA guidelines, quality systems, lean principles, and technologies such as mechatronics, additive manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 is essential.
Essential Functions
Required but not limited to

Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Foster cooperative and productive working relationships across teams.
Drive safety initiatives, improve safety practices, and ensure adherence to guidelines.
Apply continuous improvement methodologies, including lean manufacturing, to enhance quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Optimize equipment and workspace layouts for maximum efficiency.
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve performance.
Provide technical expertise and support related to manufacturing operations.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying them to enhance processes.
Assess manufacturing practices for environmental sustainability, addressing emissions, pollution, and energy use.

Work Environment

Subject to hot/cold temperatures.
You may be subject to a loud working environment that requires PPE.
Skin exposure to oils and/or coolant.
Occasional work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms.
Split time between office settings and production facilities.
May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. on an intermittent basis.
Frequent walking.
Travels throughout the plant, on foot or maintenance cart, multiple times throughout the shift.

Education and/or Experience

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years in a similar role is preferred
