RINA is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer - Construction to join its office in Milwaukee within the North America Infrastructure & Mobility Division.
Mission
The Project Engineer - Construction is an integral part of our team overseeing transportation projects primarily for the Wisconsin DOT (WisDOT). Your role involves on-site documentation of construction projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. You will conduct daily field inspections, monitor contractor operations, interact with stakeholders, and support project scheduling and close-out activities. Your effective communication and attention to detail will contribute significantly to project success and client satisfaction.
In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will be encouraged to build relationships with clients for current and future projects, fostering a collaborative environment for continued success.
Key Accountabilities
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field of study
• 7+ years of transportation construction experience. Bridge experience is a plus.
• Engineering-In-Training (EIT) required. Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
• Background or experience with structures construction, preferred
• Proficiency in using construction management and project scheduling software
• Strong technical written and verbal communications skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Additional Requirements
• Ability to travel to project sites based on business needs.
• Valid Driver's license
