FIELD MAINTENANCE & REPAIR TECHNICIAN – Fort Worth, TX- Full Time

$20 / hour 

($21 per hour if doing Planet Fitness work)

Daily local travel, includes mileage reimbursement

Occasional weekend work may be required

BASIC FUNCTION

The Full-time Field Maintenance and Repair Technician is responsible for the service and maintenance of equipment within the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area, including Dallas Love Field, Grapevine Mills, USPS lockers, several fitness club locations and various malls as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Inspect and perform maintenance on assigned equipment

  • Clean strollers, massage chairs, wheelchairs, CMUs, and locker systems to ensure clean and functional equipment is always available for customers

  • Accurate and timely collections, bank, and report financial transactions

  • Manage locations in accordance with applicable state and federal laws, as well as Smarte Carte and facility policies, procedures, and standards

  • Maintain regular contact with District Service Manager

  • Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all equipment is in good repair and working as designed

  • Maintain a positive relationship with the facility management

  • Other assignments as needed.

SKILLS


  • Minimum 2 years in a customer service role required.

  • Minimum 2 years of field based product support experience (route) preferred

  • Basic understanding of electro/mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and repair

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Maintain accurate records and compile reports

  • Proficient in computer and Smartphone use


EDUCATION


  • Technical degree or similar preferred

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS 


  • Valid Driver License required

  • Ability to get USPS badge required (background check, drug screen)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


  • Lift 40 lbs. to waist height

  • Push/Pull 75-100 lbs.

  • Bend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time

  • Visual acuity/manual dexterity to perform mechanical and electrical repairs
